Wave of Light (online event)
Saturday 15 October; 7-8pm / Worldwide
Each year the 9-15 October is Baby Loss Awareness Week which finishes on October 15 with the global ‘Wave of Light’.
This event is an online Guernsey Sands Wave of Light for 2022 if you wish to take part in this global event but from the comfort of your home.
If you’d like to take part in the Wave of Light, simply light a candle at 7pm on Saturday 15th October and join others across the globe remembering the babies who lit up our lives for too short a time.
Please take a picture of your candle burning and post it on our Facebook Page event.

Children are welcome.

Guernsey Sands February Community Meet *EVENT CANCELLED*
Tuesday 16 February; 7.30 - 9.30pm / St Stephen's Community Centre Meeting Room
*In light of Guernsey currently being in lockdown and the cancellation of all events, we have to cancel our February Community Meet. We will keep an eye on advice provided by the States of Guernsey and the Public Health Service regarding future events. Thank you for your understanding.*
Guernsey Sands (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society) has a local support group who can offer emotional support and practical help if your baby has died during late pregnancy, at birth or shortly afterwards.
Our friendly and relaxed monthly community meets are an opportunity for bereaved parents, relatives and close friends to meet with others who have been through a similar experience.
We aim to meet every month from 7.30pm-9.30pm. You are more than welcome to turn up on the day but if you wish, you can confirm your attendance by phone or email.
The February meet will be at St Stephen’s Community Centre Meeting Room on Tuesday 16th.
